Title: 4th Annual GSA Multidisciplinary Research Conference

The GSA is inviting you to attend and present at its 4th Annual Multidisciplinary Research Conference. Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students and Post-Docs are invited to register for a 10-minute talk or to present at the poster session. Posters of all forms are encouraged to enter (i.e. poster of drama and music productions, as well as art pieces are welcome). It’s a great way to share your research and/or art with our local academic community, fellow students and researchers.

The conference will be held on-campus in Turcotte Hall on Saturday, March 13th, 2010.

Registration deadline is February 19th, 2010, but talk spaces are limited so you are encourages to apply early if you would like to give a talk.

Registration will include the wine & cheese poster/art session, and chances to win cash prizes for best talk and best poster.

The GSA and CAETL are putting together an orientation for new graduate students.  The orientation will include introductions by GSA members, presentations by SGS staff and the research librarian, as well as providing general information about graduate life and supervisor expectations.

On behalf of the GSA Council I would like to extend you a warm invitation to the GSA’s Annual Christmas Wine and Cheese, December 11th from 4:30-7:00 in Galileo’s. There will be food, wine, local beer and non-alcoholic punch served at this event. Each grad student will be given two drink tickets upon their arrival. Additional drinks may be purchased for $2.00 each.
